Tamil Nadu Film Producers' Council president Ramanarayanan unveiled the music of the film. It was the first film for PVR films to host an audio launch function. Vidyasagar, best known for his soulful melodies has scored the music for Mandhira Punnagai. Directors Dharani, SP Jananathan, Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, Hari, Vasantha Balan, Suseendran, Ezhil, lyrics writer Vivega and producer TG Thyagarajan were present at the event.
